The Saga Begins... with a name.

Alrighty! Some ideas, please, people, for the name of our Supergroup! *dramatic pose*

Having hit level 10 last night, we're now eligible to create a group and maintain a base.

The name gave us a bit of difficulty, though, so input would be greatly appreciated.

The basis for it is thus.

Sack O'Anvils, a Divine Nephilim (as opposed to an Infernal one), has been ordered by his superiors to form a squad of talented youngsters, and with the help of Jetflare, train them and unify them against an as-yet uncertain threat. Rumours abound, but hard facts are hard to find in a time of war...

Thus, we have the premise of the group. Now we need a name... and also potentially some Supergroup colours. Two colours. Bearing in mind, we are the goodies... red and black are not really acceptable. *winks*

Alright! Go crazy, and hopefully I'll have enough input by tomorrow to form the group and get started on the "base."

are we going to make serious roleplay or wacky parody style roleplay ?

Personally, I think it should be light-humered RP.

Like a comic-book or cartoon, really. Cliche villians, cheesy catchphrases... y'know the lot. But realisitic, at least.

So far it's been very much like the CoH comic strip, but slightly more humorous; elements of seriousness, like in combat (no Biff, Pow, Whammo, etc...), and with some genuine affection between characters and whatnot... but each RP session is characterized by highly entertaining interaction between the characters.
Some characters are more inherently funny than others (*winks at Lil*), but ultimately it's how the characters react to each other and play off their environment that has me cracking up.

And as of tonight, Anvil's Ascent is in existence, and the base is merely awaiting the prestige of its members to blossom into a full-fledged barracks!
