So... not that I have much clue as to how this works but apparently it is desireable for us all to get into the same neighbourhood, right? Coordinate your purchases in this thread.

Well. I think the best location for a kinship house should be Bree. With all you humans around *lirandel snaps the words out through clenched teeth* Besides Rivendell is not the best place for some of us these days. So what say you...

Bree it is! Take a look at some of the links Fel posted in his thread about Book 11... they include maps of the neighbourhoods, so once a Kinship house is selected, we can all scrabble for the leftovers.

Level 50 with a lifetime subscription, a shiny set of gear and 250 silver.

Incidentally, duelled a level 30 guardian (for a laugh) with a shield equipped, (it's a good look for me ), and every time he actually managed to hit me, it came up "Absorbed". As a result I took exactly ZERO damage the whole time. Didn't work on PvE though. Any ideas why?

Dowloading patch now...sheesh Louise, it's 1.2gb! Oh well. Account is reactivated and waiting...now I'm just worried about what sort of money I have in there...I seem to remember having around 20g, but I also vaguely remember giving all my money away...but whether that was in LotRO or some other game is a bit hazy... *phear!*

And aye, I definately vote for Bree as well.

As for housing I think Lirandel will have a house in Rivendell but will use the Kinship one as a temporary home.

The number of neighbourhoods have increased. There are 16 in Bree now.

Question: can houses be sold to another player?

Can't be sold, only abandoned. The Elf neighbourhood isn't in Rivendell it's south-east of Duillond.

So if one would "sell" it, then one would have to coordinate so that the "buyer" is at the broker on the moment that the house is abandoned?
