Wuuuulf, you out-of-the-loop mook! DDO has gone free-to-play! (if you use a US account, that is)

Trial? Not that i know of. I just signed up and jumped in game. No subs or anything.
I was on for about 30 min so I wasn't greatly attached to the character, so I'll happily jump over to whatever people are on. I thought i'd try it cause I had such fun playing dnd with wulfy that i wanted to get more between sessions. It doesn't quite hit the spot so far. I've tried Magic the Gathering Online this week and found it far more enjoyable. :)

Magic the gathering online ? Is it also free ?

And BTW , guys. Come to DDO, its a blast. And you dont need to put in a dime if you dont want. I already found a leveling sigil. And have over 400 (money) points and i played not more than 10 hours

For some reason I got "free-to-play" confused with the "no subscription" model Guild Wars uses.

So I don't need to buy a client either?! So much schwing! :D

Me and Lira and a couple of other online friends are right now (or will ,when we get time) haunting the SORLANA server...from what I could see on the forums it is apparently the unofficial rp server. And again, in case anyone forgets: Be sure to get the US client - it is only the US version that is f2p for the moment. Get it from DDO.com.
