Getting this show on the road

In fact, I find they're both still up and running.

Now I've looked at the custom channels and created us a custom BlackThorn channel and I've found out that the custom Roleplaying channel is also still going.

To join them you need to right click on a chat tab and choose chat options.

Look at custom channels and use the following:

Channel Name: BlackThorn

Channel Name: Roleplaying

I happen to know there has been a large qeynos RP guild on runnyeye since almost the release of EQ2. Its the european roleplay association, who are using the global name of "Too Late Running". I approached them about possibilities of cross group RP between them and my RP guild run by me and candi at the time of "Midnight Legion". We did roleplay with a third group which we met in an open dungeon, this group had been been grown up roleplaying together over ten years.

I have never had any problems with "LOL" or that kind of thing on runnyeye.

If you want I can try getting in touch with my old contacts.

 Funny i was member of "Too late running" - a great guild , and bunch of very friendly people - in the time I was playing they had none roleplaying elements. Seems this changed over time.

Anyhow, the point is - the magnitude of LOTRO roleplaying population will not be seen on EQ2 ... so we have to know what to expect , and do not get disappointed over it.

And , even better - Thorn can soon be a guild that would reintroduce roleplaying in EQ2 ... and that is something to look forward to

Velerak and everyone with him did roleplay whenever I met them. however what they did beyond that is not something I can comment on.

I was there in time Desert of Flames expansion came out , so it is fairly long time now. Remember Velerak too.
Perhaps they were not into rp at that time (with rush of expansion and all) ...

Anyways. Runnyeye is good choice , and i would be glad to meet Too late runnings folks , if any is still around ...

Who knows maybe my gnome mage - Fizzlespell - is not deleted ?

And today I finally, in a fit of pique, bought the expansion from GAME and will be sending the amazon (hugely delayed) one back.

Runnyeye it is!

Keeping my fingers crossed :D

if you have a SoE account, you can buy Rise of the Kunark and all the expansions for £25.99. and i'm sure you can make a SoE account for free.

...Or you can get them all for 15 quid off amazon.

20 quid in GAME.

Of course, you need to activate it and whatnot first. Tricksy website design on the part of SOE there...

I really wish to buy hard copy of the game. I will only be buying digital version if hard copy does not appear in local game store.
