Mind-Walking

"...the boy would stretch out, and touch them one by one..."

Sam Woods, has a problem...

...a big sized problem.

His powers are spiralling out of control, and his mind is connecting with all those he loves platonicly.

They are bound to his mind.

It happens one by one, his powers granting them the ability to 'mind-walk', outside their own mind and into his.

It could happen at any time...

...sleep...

...meditation...

...work...

...training...

...any time your mind drifts off. Any time Delta brain-waves take over.

You will find yourself, in a different world.

"...they will come to him..."

A gentle breeze whistles past your ears. Strange... you do not recognise this place. Looking around, you can see buildings towering around you. The noise of city-life is ever clear in your ears, the bustle of movement and life. You look down at your feet, and they are there. You look down at your hands, and they are there. You seem to be there. Below your feet, you can see a pathway. Stange... you thought your were on the sidewalk. But no, this path leads in a different direction. This path leads straight to a small building atop a low hill, raised partially above the gradient of the city. You turn, and behind you, there is a doorway. Normality is through there, somehow you know. The door is open, it would be so easy to step out and back...

Curiosity has driven you onwards, and you take a step towards the small building. All of a sudden, you are there at the doorway. This door is open too, but you turn to look back. Behind you, easily within sight, is the door back to normality. As you turn back to the door into the building, you notice damage has been inflicted onto the doorframe. Stones have been chipped, as if a great weight crashed against the door, and there are two different sets of scratch marks. One set is light, many small lines digging into the stonework. The other set, are deep and strong, three lines made by three claws. Your eyes are drawn to the door itself, standing freely open. The door has suffered the same attack as the doorframe, and by the same weapons. Surely this is not important. Moving onwards, you find yourself standing in the doorway. Before you, you can see a large library, full of books and bookases, shelves and papers. You can't quite make out the words from here, and you want to step inside to read the books. Or you could step back...
