The really great thing about this is that it returns us pretty much to the roots of the characters.
Adjanah
is a pirate to begin with... and not a very lawful or good-aligned one; the toon builder lets her look like her original conception; and also note that on her shoulder in the CoX screenshot is her pet dragon Francis (named - of course - after
Sir Francis Drake).
Clicky for original pageAnd Sayvara isn't really the goody-good leadery type you have seen in LotRO. Her original implementation was a chaotic half-drow in the Eberron settning, specifically created to cause mayhem and upset. I originally intended her to be quite the bitch but since DDO doesn't allow truly evil characters and all the others had wussy do-gooders she eventually drifted from neutral to sort of good. Below is her first write-up. Markas was my first DDO RP character but he never got anywhere since Sayvara took over completely.
Original character intro for Sayvara<D&D Rant-About-My-Character warning> Some things have faded to become obsolete. She started out as a bard with an unusual CHA/STR build, simply because I wanted her to be strong and devious while still having a striking presence. Just for fun I chucked in the Greatsword proficiency feat and that became somewhat of a signature for her: strongwoman with a stonking huge sword. Surprisingly, this worked very well in DDO on the lower levels, especially when I added the cure spells to her arcane repetoire. But then again, DDO is D&D on amphetamines and steriods with lots and lots and LOTS of mobs and characters buffed up to their ears. This means that it only worked for lower levels and as she rose in levels she eventually became the gimped super-squishy character one can expect from a bard trying to do melee combat at lvl 10 and above.
</D&D Rant-About-My-Character warning>The champion class in LotRO was actually perfect for her combat style: doing huge amounts of damage and dashing headfirst in among enemies and worrying about injuries later.
For CoX, the first attempt here is making her a Natural Brute with Fire as primary power, simply because it made sure I could retain the original concept of her being strong and wielding a honkin' big sword.
Personality and such remains to be fleshed out. You all know the basics but backstory and specifics are in the works.
Two-word summary: time-napped pirates.
