Festival: Spring Planting with the Thorn

Postby Felaion » Tue Mar 11, 2008 11:49 am

*Nailed to a board just inside the doorway of the Thorn Kinship Hall, flutters this note. Carefully written in a strong, bold hand, the scribes writing encompasses all of the note, except a few words at the end. Copies of the notice have also been posted in letter-form to Thorn-Members and friends.*

Member of the Company of the Black Thorn or ally,

From the 7th of March to the 27th of the same month, Middle-Earth is united in the celebration of the Spring Planting. As a festival of love and birth that even the animal kingdom abide by, it is important to maintain a feeling of goodwill both within and without the Thorn. Hense, as Sergeant and Quartermaster for the Thorn, I have seen it fit to organise a Spring Planting Party. This event will be held in Rodstead, at the Thorn Kinship Hall. It's the large hall to the west, overlooking the lake.

I intend the festivities to be rather open-ended, though I do expect there to be some sort of dance at at least one point during the night... if only too keep with a Gondorian Tradition I have not kept for many a year. Feel free to come, or not, if you so desire. But those who do not come will be missed, be sure. There will be cake...

The festival is scheduled for the 15th March, just before sunset.

Happy Spring Planting!
*And then in an untidy and childish scrawl*

Glad to hear it! I hope everyone that did come had a good time, all-in-all. My apologies for the ahem, tiny, bit of drama that evolved as such and resulted in Fela walking out... but I still really enjoyed it too :) Glad so many could come!

Was fun aye so thanks for a good time. :)

Good pics but the perspective makes Sarid's legs appear to be of dwarven stature. :P Wish I could get some more waist too. *sigh*

Oh and Kelli's boobs HAVE to be photoshopped in that pic or there has been some HOTfix (no pun intended) that I missed.

Hmm... Cant see Sunni there. She is so stealthy little girl that even cameras cant catch her.
Working as intended?
