Chronicles of Destiny: The Day of Two Trees - Introduction

Postby Felaion » Sun Nov 11, 2007 2:25 pm

Sunday 11th November – Greenway Crossing

“Miss Sayvara! Miss Sayvara!” called a voice from the direction of Bree-Town. As Sayvara turned to eye the direction the voice came from, she noticed a middle-aged man rushing towards her, with the build of a farmer. The farmer reached her, breathing heavily, and paused to catch his breath.
“Whatever is the matter, good Sir?” Sayvara queried.
“I-It’s my wife… you are the lieutenant of the Black Thorn, aren’t you?”
“Why yes…”
“Then you have to help me… my wife has been kidnapped by brigands, and the constables are too afraid to do anything!”
“Where is she now?” Sayvara questioned, her hand going to her sword-hilt.
“Chetwood…I think. But don’t go yet! They threatened to kill her… you will need allies, then you can overpower them.”
“Why would they take your wife?” Sayvara opts to be wary.
“I don’t know! Probably because that Captain Silvester and his companions managed to kill their leader a short while back…”
“I see…”
“Look, could you and a couple of other members of the Black Thorn meet me by the building site east of Combe tomorrow, at dusk? Then I can find out exactly where she is.”
“But of course.”
“The tales of your kindness do not give you enough credit, Miss Sayvara. Bless you.”
Tom Farmer, for that was his name, ran back into Bree-Town, back the way he came.

After hearing his Luietentant's report, and having been confronted with a similar request himself, the Mornereg orders any availible Thorn to rally at Combe Gate, Bree-Town just before dusk.

Sounds great, bro!

My internet is being UTTERLY awful this weekend... I hope they'll have it sorted by Monday, but we'd best have a back-up plan just in case. :-(

Even web browsing is a nightmare, let alone gaming.

Ouch indeed... do I have any volunteers to step in for Wulf, should he die?

...sorry, but if you are Sayvara or Lirandel, you can't :P

...on the upside, I can cautiously say I think I've got it licked... but we all know how quickly that can turn around.

So far, so good.

Thanks all that showed up yesterday. It was real fun. And a good pat no the back ot Felaion. A good mix of stolle-tellign and /roll-playing. The idea to set the mood of the chars at the start with rolls was a nice touch. Well done brother! :)
