Chapter One: "The Day of Mourning".

Tharynien was lying a top a marble stone construction, among her the trees of Rivendell was whispering, their petals falling in silent sorrow. Clad in her finest white robes, a book resting beneath her folded hands. Her face was peaceful, almost smiling. She looked thoughtful. In the distance mild sounds of twinkling bells could be heard. (The camera slowly turns). In front of the dais, also clad in robes the Company of the Thorn stands silently. Then as one, kneels and bows their heads in grief... A last homage to their sister and friend...

Time: Monday the 29th of October at 19:00 CET.

Place: The Gates of Rivendell.

Clothing: Robes or other more non combatant gear.

RP Style: Is an open storyline event that finishes without leaving too many plothooks in its wake. It is simply Where the Thorn meet up to pay their last homage to Tharynien the Loreseeker.

Note: This should also be seen as an opportunity for the players interested in the new patch to discuss the possibilities for the Thorn's involvement in the world. As the question of housing etc... This will take place after the small event has finished. I hope to see as many of the Thorn as possible.

Today's event has sadly been postboned due to heavy RL crash!

When I get home later tonight or tomorrow :| I will set a new date.

Sorry gang. Hate to be a spoiler. *huggles*

What a day for game updates. I am coming online but i'm sat doing the update at a measly 29kb/s ... kind of pathetic considering I now have a shiney 8mb/s.

Thank you all that showed up yesterday. It was very nice to see a bit of air breathed into LotRO again. The gathering was pretty nice... the lighthearted bantering on voice was kind of hillarious. And it's good to see we can still turn some heads when we come wandering across the lands. :)
