Back to Middle Earth

Postby Archibold » Tue Jan 08, 2008 10:51 am

Friends , I have reactivated my account with 3 months holiday offer. 30$ for Turbine and i have something nice to carry me over to AOC launch. LOTRO looks beautiful as it always did , and i must say that the houses looks actually quite nice .I was presently surprised.

Alas , Thorn seems to be inactive. And it came to no wonder for me. We are in transition period and most are actively playing other games. Most of members of LOTRO thorn , didnt log for up to 30 days.

I guess , i will have to seek active guild for this 3 month period. But i am putting every single thorn member on the friends list , in case we get more active.

Hope i see you all in middle earth , before we step on the shores of Hyboria

Yours truly

Yup, LotRO-BT is pretty much down for the moment, as I understand.
Have fun in there Arch, hope you find some nice people to spend time with. :)

I was logged in with wulfy the other day, it just feels like there is something missing from the adventure side of things, a missing ooomph.

Might as well be.

But in mean time i tried WOW again, i tried TR, Eq2 trial ( i played the full game before ).
Nothing any more ooomph there to tell you the truth.

I find LOTRO to be quite nice though, and there is certanly a feeling of immersion.
So ill be there until something real good comes out - i mean AOC

Who still plays this, anyway, besides everyone who has spoken all ready? I stopped because no one was ever around.

Thinking about starting up an alt... someone to deliver wood to Sayvara.

I can't imagine Sayvara ever having trouble getting wood.

...At this point I will 'fess up to an alt...

Phil, huntsman of Breeland.

He also does the wood thing.

Thing is, he's sitting around level 14 or so because soloing on a hunter is so markedly slower than on a Champion that I find I seldom have the patience for it.

I do, however, occasionally visit good ole Middle Earth, both on Wulfy and Phil, but more often on Wulfy, it must be said.

*glares*

Well first of all I'll have you know I'm not some kind of trollop that messes around (that much). For that, go speak to the CotBT resident man-eating tarts. *points in the direction of Adjanah and Kellidir*

Second you have no idea how hard it is to get hold of a man. Sure... plenty of males around but very few men. The only one I got hold of wasn't even of the species but an elf instead... and even that grumpy old bastard didn't stick around that long.

*kicks Lirandel in the bum*

Hard to get a man Sayv?
What about Gwann? He's a bloke... but the problem is going to be getting rid of him!

Meh... naw... he seems to have issues... especially with my wish to remain alive a bit further.
